What You'll Need:
- 1 pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
- ⅓ cup Prohibition Original BBQ Sauce (divided)
- 1 lb. chicken
- 2 TBSP Prohibition Smoky Mountain Sweet Rub
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ⅓ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ⅓ cup thinly sliced red onions
How To Prepare
- Season the Chicken: Rub the chicken with Prohibition Smoky Mountain Sweet Rub.
- Cook the Chicken: Smoke, grill, or bake the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F. Shred the cooked chicken.
- Assemble the Pizza:
- Spread ¼ cup of Prohibition Original BBQ Sauce over the pizza crust.
- Top with the shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, and red onion slices.
- Drizzle the remaining BBQ sauce on top.
- Cook: Place the pizza on a pizza stone and bake at 500°F for 12 minutes, or cook on the grill/pizza oven until fully done.
- Slice and Serve: Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
