Bootleg BBQ Meatballs

Juicy, flavorful meatballs made with a blend of ground beef and pork, mixed with garlic, onion, panko, and Prohibition Bootleg Brisket Rub. Coated in Prohibition Original Sauce, these BBQ meatballs are perfect for any gathering or dinner.

What You'll Need:

  • 1 lb. 80/20 ground beef
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 TBSP minced garlic
  • 1 TBSP minced onion
  • 1 bottle Prohibition Original Sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 TBSP Prohibition Bootleg Brisket Rub
  • Salt & pepper to taste

How To Prepare

  • Preheat the Grill or Oven: Set the grill or oven to 350°F.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except for the BBQ sauce. Be sure to blend evenly but do not overmix to avoid tough meatballs.
  • Form the Meatballs: Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Be careful not to overpack them.
  • Cook: Place the meatballs on a wire rack set over a foil-lined cookie sheet. Cook in the grill or oven for 35 minutes or until just done.
  • Coat with BBQ Sauce: Toss the cooked meatballs in Prohibition Original Sauce and return them to the oven or grill until the sauce starts to boil, approximately 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve: Enjoy them warm as a main dish or appetizer.
